Our experience includes the following:
- Advising GP commissioners on appropriate consortium arrangements and collaborative working models
- Drafting the standard NHS contracts for commissioning acute hospital services, community services, mental health and learning disabilities services, ambulance services and the model consortium agreement and constitution for collaborative commissioning
- Advising commissioners and providers in connection with their rights and obligations under the standard commissioning contracts and assist them with and represent them at mediation of contract disputes

- Assisting a first wave social enterprise being formed through Right to Request (pro bono)
- Acting for an NHS Trust in connection with its joint working arrangements with a university for its biomedical research unitResisting threat of Judicial Review Applications in a series of cases involving care packages for clients with learning disabilities.
- Leading robust consultation exercises in relation to strategies for change to avoid the risk of legal challenge.
- Advising on implementation of legislation such as Human Rights Act, Mental Capacity Act, Human Tissue Act, Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information Act and the Children Acts at central government and local level.
- Advising on investigations and high profile enquiries following the death of patients and staff, manslaughter investigations, representation in criminal proceedings and at coroners’ inquests.
- Drafting confidentiality and consent policies and policies in relation to funding of continuing care.
- Investigation and representation at professional conduct and competence hearings, and drafting and advising on codes of conduct.
