We act for a range of lenders including banks, building societies and public sector organisations as well as borrowers including housing associations, finance companies, PIc’s and private companies.

Currently only a small percentage of Registered Social Landlords' ("RSL") low cost home ownership schemes (“LCHO Schemes”) fall within the scope of the CCA, i.e. where the RSL's interest is secured by a legal charge and does not exceed £25,000. This will change from 6th April 2008 when the £25,000 financial limit for CCA lending is abolished by the CCA 2006. Potentially all RSL’s LCHO Schemes where the RSL’s interest is secured by a legal charge will then be covered by the CCA.
