  • advising a manufacturer of TV and telephony systems in the recovery of in excess of £1million relating to the purchase of defective computer chips
  • advising an educational institution about a potential breach of tender contract by the contracted supplier of services; working with Commercial and Employment colleagues on specific procurement and TUPE advice required
  • advising two shareholders on a dispute with a former shareholder regarding the return of shares. Also advising the company on the former shareholder's (who was also the former Finance Director) demand for repayment of a directors' loan and on the company's counterclaim/set-off for the inadequate professional accountancy services provided by him 
  • advising a public body on a pensions dispute with a former employee alleging breach of contract in the Trust giving him incorrect assurances about his pension entitlement
  • continuing to advise a secured loan provider in relation to disputed possession claims involving an element of fraud and Consumer Credit Act issues
  • advising a large Plc on injunctive proceedings for the breach of restrictive covenants following an SPA. The claim was successfully appealed to the Court of Appeal
  • advising a NHS LHB on injunctive proceedings against a former employee to prevent the disclosure of highly sensitive confidential information 
  • advising a successful local businessman on a personal insurance claim which we referred to the Financial Ombudsman on his behalf
