Claire Rawle is a partner in Morgan Cole's Health and Regulatory team. She is a specialist advocate and her national practice consists of all aspects of contentious matters involving Health, Safety and Environmental legislation. During her 21 years at Morgan Cole, Claire has advised and represented corporate and individual clients in both the private and public sectors across a wide range of industries. She provides a 24 hour Critical Incident Response service for her clients and her work includes managing their response to a critical incident; advice and representation at interviews under caution; support throughout the course of a joint investigation by Police and/or the Regulator; representation at Coroners' inquests; defence of criminal prosecutions brought by CPS and/or the Regulator; and the conduct of Appeals against Enforcement Notices. A considerable number of her cases have been complex and have attracted media interest at both a local and national level.
Claire advises and assists clients in relation to Critical Incident management and planning to include the preparation of protocols and provision of implementation training. She is currently engaged in a rolling programme of workshops and seminars for clients to include management of Health and Safety; directors' duties and responsibilities; Corporate Manslaughter Act 2007; Critical Incident investigation; accident investigation; minimising exposure to claims and other related topics. In recent years, Claire has devoted a considerable amount of her time to working with her clients to raise awareness of the Corporate Manslaughter Act 2007 and the Health & Safety (Offences) Act 2008, and the provision of bespoke training for their Boards and Senior Management Teams.
