David has been a partner at Morgan Cole since 1985. He heads up the Health, Professional Indemnity and Regulatory team.

His areas of practice include defending doctors and dentists in clinical negligence claims; acting for solicitors in professional negligence actions; and investigating and presenting fitness to practice claims before a wide range of professional conduct tribunals.

David is an experienced civil litigator and has acted in many claims where damages have exceeded £1m. He has also litigated claims in the USA.

David is a trained mediator with experience of acting as mediator in civil claims.

In 2011 David was appointed as a Deputy District Judge by the Lord Chancellor.
